When I was young, I would always look up at night and try to identify the constellations. I was a huge astronomy geek back then, and I was so happy when my dad bought me these books about stars, planets, satellites, and all that shiz.

Now that I’m a lot older, I don’t look up the sky so much anymore. Not because I no longer find the constellations amusing, because I still do. But I always associated looking up the sky with dreams coming true. And as a grown up who knows that not all dreams are supposed to come true, I find it quite depressing.

But last night, for the first time in ten years… I saw a falling star. And surprisingly, the saw the sever-year old me, her eyes closed, her palms pressed together. Ladies and gentlemen, I made a wish.

And I guess, right now… I’m sharing it to you. Make a wish, guys. It’s on me.

I haven’t stargazed in forever. But I love it. It makes me feel like myself.
